Welcome to Caradoc Court

The ultimate wedding location, luxury bed and breakfast
and self-catering accommodation near Ross-on-Wye.

Caradoc Court is a unique location – whether for a wedding or other special occasion – and a magic destination for those on the move or looking for the perfect holiday. It is reputed to have been the home of Caradoc Vraich-bras; one of the knights of King Arthur's legendry round table. A magnificent old Jacobean manor house set in its own gardens overlooking the river Wye and nestling in the folds of the Herefordshire countryside a few miles to the north of Ross on Wye. The current house dates from the 17th century with later additions, having been a seat of the Viscounts Scudamore. It has recently been beautifully renovated and restored to its former splendour and is comfortably furnished throughout.

Our guests tell us how wonderful it is to spend time in such a peaceful location, situated as we are in beautiful countryside away from roads and noise in a quiet corner of England – in complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of city life. But for those who want activity we are also at the heart of all the pursuits and activities of the beautiful Wye Valley; with Symonds Yat and the Forest of Dean both just a few miles away. And yet despite this tranquil setting it is easy to reach us as we are only 3 miles from the western end of the M50.

We extend a warm welcome to all our house guests and do our best to create the perfect occasion and the comfortable ambience of a country house stay.
